How do I fast-forward or rewind a video?

You can fast-forward or rewind a video at any time, even before it has finished loading.
To do so, hover your mouse over the video bar at the bottom of the video player screen. Then, drag your mouse along the video bar to the time you would like to fast-forward or rewind to, and let go of the mouse.
The same capability exists on smart phones and tablets by using your finger as the mouse.
When streaming through the full site version of Pilates Anytime, when your mouse is hovered over the video bar, a thumbnail will pop up to give you a snapshot of what is happening in the video at that point in time.
If you missed something the instructor said and you want a quick rewind option, you can click the 10 second rewind button in the bottom left hand corner of the video bar (from a computer). From a smartphone or tablet, you can rewind 15 seconds by tapping on the 15 second rewind button - also in the bottom left hand corner of the video bar.

I have to press pause then use the video bar and then hit play again each time I want to fast forward. It's a bit tedious to have to hit pause all the time. Any thoughts of updating this to make it smoother? Check YogaGlo's videos, much easier and faster response to fast forward or rewind. Thanks for any input on this!

Patrice ~ you should not have to pause the video in order to fast forward or rewind. As the video is playing, all you have to do is click on the video bar at the time you would like to fast forward or rewind to. You do not even have to press play again. Please email us at support@pilatesanytime.com if this does not work for you. It may be another issue such as internet connectivity.

Thank you for your quick response. I thought it shouldn't be that way. I usually always use Firefox and in Firefox the above doesn't work, I have to pause to make it work. I just ran a video in Safari and it works as you mentioned. I guess it's time to switch to Safari to view Pilates Anytime!

Patrice ~ I didn't even think of the effect of using different browsers, but that is useful to know. I use Chrome which also works great and regularly updates Adobe Flash for you.

I watch the videos on a smart tv. I can not figure out how to fast forward. When I put the curser over the play bar it always brings me back to the start. Do you know how to do this?
