Ann Frederick has always had movement be an instrumental part of her life as having a mission to teach. Her passion to share her vision and knowledge can be truly felt by anyone that has ever met her. She is a former professional dancer, having grown up in her Mom’s dance studio. She started to dance at the age of 4, first became a dance teacher at 14 and danced professionally until 35.
Read More Ann graduated from ASU in 1997, where she conducted scientific research that demonstrated more successful outcomes with her technique compared to traditional static stretching. Ann originally created her unique system of assisted, movement based stretching called Stretch to Win® - Fascial Stretch Therapy™ (or FST) for the USA Men’s Olympic Wrestling Team of 1996.

Besides improving professional athletic performance, she soon discovered that FST also rapidly helped other clients with a variety of chronic, unresponsive pain conditions, strength imbalances and other common neuromusculoskeletal disorders.

She has devoted her life’s work to always evolving her technique and expanding the possibilities of its potential to help as many lives as possible. Ann has pursued her life path of teaching and mentoring with love for 45 years. She has inspired and motivated thousands of her students to successfully follow their own life path with newly found confidence and skills gained in hands-on training with Ann and her amazing team of teachers.

In 2017, she completed clinical research in conjunction with the University of Arizona Medical School on Chronic Non- Specific Low Back Pain and Fascial Stretch Therapy with outcomes showing scientifically significant outcomes. Read the study abstract here.

Ann is a founding member of the Fascia Research Society.
